At 160 meters high, Luzzone Dam is famous in sport climbing for being the highest artificial wall of the world.

It is accessible from May to October and equipped with more than 600 resin handholds, divided into 5 pitches (5b, 5c, 6a, 6a+, 6a+) and protected by anchors.

Frequent exposure to sun and weather and the non-trivial arrangement of holds, makes it suitable primarily for experlenced climbers who know and can practice progression and belaying technique to perfection.

The artificial climbing wall is intended for climbers over 18 years of age with appropriate equipment, which should include at least one rope with a minimum length of 50 meters, climbing shoes, 14 quickdraws, helmet, lanyards, etc.
