Capanna Cristallina, 2572m

The Cristallina hut is located at an altitude of 2575 m on the Cristallina Pass between the Bedretto and Bavona valleys, just an hour and a half from Lake Naret. It is the ideal place to spend the night or simply fortify yourself with a slice of cake or other local products and dishes before continuing your hike. From the south-facing terrace, you have a magnificent view of the Basodino glacier and a 360° view of the Swiss Alps from the surrounding peaks. In July and August, ibex and marmots are not uncommon in the vicinity of the hut. The area offers white-red and white-blue hiking trails, and for experienced mountaineers and climbers there are more difficult and less well-trodden paths.
