Horseback ride in the chestnut woods with the Leventina Western horses (2h ride)
Description
From January to the end of May, the Leventina Western horses spend their lives in the forest pastures, in the saddle of these horses you will discover the surroundings of Giornico.
You will ride through the magical chestnut forest on easy trails as well as on secluded paths.
Groups of experienced riders may be able to canter on ideal terrain.
Meeting point: The exact meeting point will be communicated to you early enough via email or WhatsApp (at least 3 days before). As the horses graze between Osco and Giornico, the location varies. (10 min driving difference)
Equipment: We can provide you with a helmet free of charge.
Requirements: For this ride it is recommended to have riding experience. Children must be able to ride and are allowed from the age of 12.
Group size: min 2 people max 6 with experienced riders.
Languages spoken: We speak Italian German, English and some French.
Please tell us your height and weight when you buy your ticket. Our horses have a max. load of 100kg.
Event dates 2024: 25 march / 01, 15 april / 02, 20 may
Start of each event: 10:30 -12:30 hrs.
In case of bad weather (danger of thunderstorm or continuous rain) the ride will be cancelled.
Insurance is the responsibility of the participant.
