Sconfinare Festival 2025 OLTRE IL MURO | SATURDAY 11 OCTOBER | 10:00 AM
What do we really inherit from our parents? And how can our bodies become the place where family memories, pain, love, and unspoken words are stored? Starting from her latest book, Di madre in figlia (Einaudi, 2024), Concita De Gregorio intertwines personal stories and collective reflection, addressing the themes of care, loss, and female identity with a clear and empathetic gaze. One of the most authoritative and recognisable voices in Italian journalism, De Gregorio accompanies us in a dialogue that touches on motherhood and memory, politics and intimacy. An encounter that explores the invisible threads that bind generations, stories and faces, questioning us on how to recount them – to ourselves, to others, to the times we live in.
The conference will be moderated by Lorenzo Buccella, cultural journalist.
