Daily Pass Beyond the Wall
Description
Sconfinare Festival 2024
BEYOND THE WALL: FIVE HOURS, FIVE PERSPECTIVES, ONE SQUARE | SATURDAY, OCTOBER 12 | FROM 10:00 AM
What is a boundary? What is the nature of the ambivalence of this term, which we use every day to define ourselves and the world we live in? What are the barriers (both physical and abstract or symbolic) that run through contemporary society? And how does the boundary that separates the individual from their surrounding environment – be it natural, social, cultural, or virtual – fit into this dynamic?
At the heart of a square understood as an agora, a place of meeting, exchange, and dialogue, the diverse and complementary perspectives of five prominent figures from the international cultural scene will seek to shed light on the theme of the boundary between nature and culture, between humanity and environment, which is the focus of Sconfinare Festival 2024.
A fascinating topic, which will be developed both within the individual meetings and through the alternating voices on stage, representing "in action" the variety and complexity of contemporary culture and the possible crossings between different approaches: literary, philosophical, scientific, and journalistic.
