eBike & Taste – Monte Bar Experience

A panoramic eMTB tour through the mountains of Capriasca, designed for those who wish to ride at a relaxed pace and be surprised by the authentic landscapes and flavours of the region. The itinerary links grotti, alpine pastures and mountain huts, with gourmet stops that from morning until afternoon become a true journey of taste, guiding visitors through a complete meal.

The route follows quiet secondary asphalt roads and comfortable forest tracks, perfectly suited to eMTBs, with steady climbs that allow riders to enjoy the journey in total relaxation. Along the way, beautiful panoramic views open over the Lugano region and the Alps, leading up to Monte Bar, the highlight of the experience and the true heart of the itinerary, where a spectacular view unfolds over the surrounding landscape.

Indicative schedule and tastings

Stop 1 – Alpe Rompiago, around 11:30 am: Aperitif with a platter of local cured meats and cheeses + one glass of wine

Stop 2 – Capanna Monte Bar, around 1:30 pm: Polenta with game ragout or polenta with cheese + one glass of wine

Stop 3 – Locanda del Giglio, around 4:00 pm: Afternoon snack with homemade dessert, ratafià + coffee

Accessibility

By car: public parking is available in Tesserete near the sports centre. From there, continue by eBike for approximately 45 minutes.

Public transport: public transport to Tesserete is recommended, followed by approximately 45 minutes by eBike.

Bike Shuttle / Uber Bike: transfer service from Lugano or Tesserete to the barrier at Alpe Rompiago.
