Giulia Innocenzi | What's on the Plate?

Description

Sconfinare Festival 2024

BEYOND THE WALL | SATURDAY, OCTOBER 12 | 2:00 PM

Our gesture is simple: we go to the store, pick a food product from the shelves, and put it in our cart. At home, we then cook and eat it. But what lies behind this simple gesture? And what impact do our food choices have on the planet's balance and the well-being of farm animals? Each of us, every day, makes a choice with our fork that can influence the future of our planet and the opportunities we leave for future generations.

Giulia Innocenzi is an Italian journalist, television presenter, and blogger. She graduated in Political Science and from 2008 to 2009 hosted the show Punto G on the thematic channel Red TV, and later, on La7, the youth segment Generazione Zero on the show Annozero.
