Premio Giorgio Orelli: cerimonia di consegna e letture poetiche

The Giorgio Orelli Prize, established by the City of Bellinzona in 2018, is now in its sixth year. Each year, the Prize is awarded to personalities who have distinguished themselves in one of the two literary fields in which Giorgio Orelli worked most incisively: poetry (including poetry translation) and literary criticism. Previous editions have honored Giampiero Neri (2018), Maria Antonietta Grignani (2019), Stefano Simoncelli (2020), Massimo Raffaeli (2021) and Donata Berra (2022).

In its 2023 edition, the Prize is awarded, for the originality of his studies on Italian poetry between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, to literary critic Gilberto Lonardi, longtime professor of Italian Literature at the University of Verona.
